A Victory of Persistence

Today, after nine years and 112 races, Ed Carpenter won his first career IndyCar race in an exciting wheel to wheel battle with Dario Franchitti to the checkered flag. Ed finished 2nd at this exact same race last year, and the year before. Third time was the charm, and I really enjoyed watching it today. The last 20 laps were classic IndyCar - close, fast, intense and thrilling. In addition to being a historical victory, it serves as a symbol of persistence and determination - a reminder to me to always keep trying - to stay inspired, relentless, and push hard to the end. No matter how long it takes, I must never give up.

Ed Carpenter beating Dario Franchitti today by .0098 of a second, the closest finish in Kentucky Speedway history.
