Oh, man, do I love the sound of a good orchestra. "The Stripper" is a song I know because my Dad is a trumpet player. When he was a kid he would sit outside on the front steps of my Grandma's house in Florida and play songs. Neighbors down the road loved it, would call the house, and make song requests to my Grandma who would then pass them on to my Dad. Grandma said he would play for hours into the night and everyone really enjoyed it. I wasn't originally thinking about that when I sat down to post this, but that's the power of music at work, connecting me to my family, my roots, and to things beyond the reach of words deep within the human heart that I love.
I feel very happy in my life right now. There is an invisible Will that no one sees or knows, and he's been working hard from within to make changes to get on a good wavelength. I feel like I've turned a corner, and I'm grateful for it. I've come far enough to see that it can be a permanent way of being, and I'm so ready for it. My Dad taught me that if you want something in life, you have to earn it. If I hike up a mountain, I have a right to stand on the summit. The same can be said of happiness, and I think achieving that peak is worth the climb. I'm in that place and I want to share it. The more I can supercharge this world with love and light, the better everything and everyone will be. The world isn't ending, it's just beginning, and on a Friday afternoon no less. So let's kick things off with a fun song that I hope makes everyone smile and feel good.
Happy Weekend. Happy Horny Spring. May everyone who wants to get laid:)
