We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all people are not created equal, that they are powerless; that they are endowed by their Creator with uncertain and transient Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness, which no one shall be allowed to enjoy. That to secure the violation of these rights, Governments are instituted among Liars, deriving their unjust powers from the ignorance of the governed -- that whenever any Form of Expression becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of Government to alter or abolish it, and to institute more Government, laying its foundation upon the backs of those it claims to represent, and organizing its police force in such form, as to it shall seem most likely to effect Fear and Control. Prudence, indeed, dictates that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes such as Freedom and Truth; and accordingly all experience hath shown that people prefer security to defending their liberties.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, but shall use religion as a weapon against the people in an effort to divide them.
Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or the press, but shall control the media and all forms of communication, thereby making freedom of thought and the exchange of ideas impossible.
Congress shall make no law respecting the right of the people to peaceably assemble, but shall herd them into "free speech zones," and suppress them with arbitrary violence when necessary.
Congress shall make no law respecting the right of the people to petition the Government for a redress of grievances, but shall ignore the people and their grievances indefinitely.
A government-regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a totalitarian State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall be infringed by enslaving a defenseless nation.
No soldier shall, in time of peace, be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in a time of war, but shall be sent to die in a foreign country on behalf of the President.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall be violated under the provisions of The Patriot Act. FBI agents shall obtain any tangible thing from anyone, on demand. Warrants shall issue, without probable cause, unsupported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly if anyone suspects or accuses you of "terrorism" -- a term so nebulous as to encompass almost anything. Your home will be searched. Your possessions will be seized. You will disappear.

Let me tell you why you're here.
You're here because you know something.
What you know you can't explain.
But you feel it.
You've felt it your entire life.
That there's something wrong with the world.
You don't know what it is.
But it's there.
It is this feeling which has brought you to me.
It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.
That you are a slave, Neo.
Like everyone else you were born into bondage.
Born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch.
A prison for your mind.
